Overview
- Wellness at Penn’s Student Health and Counseling is hiring a graduate assistant (GA) to assist in the assessment and development of the i care training and related programs.
- The i care training is an interactive training that provides skills and resources for students, faculty, and staff to intervene in situations of student stress, distress, and crisis. The training has been offered in person and virtually.
- Related programs include online modules to improve awareness around mental health and to provide tools to care for self and others.

Required Duties
- Working on assessment and program evaluation using data analysis software
- Managing participant data and creating reports of participants trained
- Attending i care trainings throughout the year and supporting the technical and administrative aspects of the training (e.g. registration, materials, and set-up)
- Navigating virtual platforms to assist with virtual trainings/offerings (e.g., Zoom, Canvas)
- Supporting the administrative tasks of an online module in Canvas
- Working independently and engaging in both in-person and remote work
- Strong collaboration, organization, and communication skills
- Experience and interest in college student mental health (applicants with clinical mental health experience may also be able to facilitate parts of the training)
Preferred Qualification and Essential Skills
- A Penn graduate student with a background in public health, social work, psychology, social science, or education
- Experience with data management (e.g., Qualtrics), and data analysis using SPSS
Other Notes:
The position will begin Summer 2025 (preferably May or June). You are expected to stay in this position for a minimum of one academic year.
The position is 20 hours/week and will pay $25-$27/hour depending on qualifications.
