Overview

Penn’s Undergraduate Admissions Office (aka Penn Admissions) seeks graduate students interested in enrollment management and undergraduate admissions.  This position (Fall 2025 + Spring 2026) provides practical learning opportunities about highly selective undergraduate admissions, committee-based evaluation, audience engagement, and customer service.  Penn Admissions advances our bridge-building work of connecting a diverse group of ambitious students with access to an education that empowers them to pursue bold action in service to society through our 5 core values:  Collective Care / Intentional Equity / Strategic Boldness / Directed Focus / Meaningful Clarity

Required Duties

Graduate Assistants will be trained to support the reading and evaluation of applications and respond to prospective students & applicant inquiries alongside our full-time professional staff.  Graduate Assistants will also welcome campus visitors, prospective students, and their families to our campus via our Admissions Visitor Center as part of our welcoming recruitment process.  Graduate Assistants will also engage in office projects related to marketing, research, copyediting, and admissions events.

Graduate Assistants will learn about highly selective admissions and relationship management systems used across higher education.  They will also learn more about the University of Pennsylvania while networking across office colleagues, campus visitors, and campus partners.
