Overview
The Office of the Vice Provost for Faculty is seeking a part-time graduate student assistant (20 hours a week) to support efforts to increase understanding, communication, and education about the body of academic work on efforts to support faculty development in academia, through the lenses of workplace issues, considerations specific to faculty life, mentoring, and leadership development. Under the direction of the Executive Director of Faculty Affairs, the student will assist with programming, research projects, data and assessment, compile bibliographies of resources in the different topical areas. The student will learn about academic research on supporting early to mid-career faculty in academia, and provide valuable resources for this work throughout the twelve Penn Schools.

Required Duties
- Assist with VPF programming and assessment (30%)
- Assist with research projects including qualitative coding, data visualization, and other relevant research projects. (30%)
- Research and drafting; compilation of academic research in relevant areas (30%)
- Assist with other duties as assigned (10%)
Preferred Qualification and Essential Skills
- H.S. Diploma or GED required
- Written and verbal communication skills
- Research skills preferred
